01 - Preheat the oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or grease it lightly.
02 - In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, lemon zest, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper.
03 - Place the salmon fillets skin-side down on the prepared baking sheet. Generously brush each fillet with the marinade.
04 - Optionally, arrange lemon slices evenly on top of the salmon fillets.
05 - Bake in the preheated oven for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the salmon is opaque and flakes easily with a fork. The internal temperature should reach 145°F.
06 - Remove from the oven, sprinkle with chopped parsley, and serve immediately.
